Bethel, in Sullivan County, is 43 miles (69 km) southwest of the town of Woodstock, New York, in adjoining Ulster County. Thirty-two acts performed during the sometimes rainy weekend in front of nearly half a million concertgoers. It is widely regarded as one of the greatest moments in popular music history..." Pra quem já ficava desesperada com os desenhos de Takashi Murakami para a Vuitton, aqui vai mais uma bomba atômica. A marca e o designer criaram juntos uma linha de bonecos de plush. Ainda estão respirando? Pois bem… As fofuras tem 10×17cm e serão vendidas a partir do dia 30 de julho na Cliff Edge (que entrega no Brasil). Agora que você deve estar gritando na frente do computador, vale saber o precinho do mimo. A fofura sai por R$1900,00, sem contar a taxa de entrega, nem os impostos. Passou, né?

Se souber ler japonês, vai lá e pede um descontinho!

Ugly Betty

Patricia Field has collaborated with Diet Coke on another sweet collection and of course I love it not only because it's with Ugly Betty but it's pink and a pink leopard print at that!

Inspired by Betty's style (dubious though it may be), the bottle is covered in a pink leopard print layer – but the rest of the design is up to the drinker. A selection of stickers, supplied with the bottle, let each person customise their Betty bottle in their own individual style – stickers include a butterfly-edged red hat, her iconic "B" pendant, or her famous poncho.

"I enjoy the cross branding of Patricia Field and Diet Coke," Patricia Field said. "Based on prior experience, when I designed the Diet Coke City Collection, I was energised to work on the Diet Coke Betty Bottle".

The Diet Coke Betty Bottle is sold only in the UK at Selfridges stores where it retails for £1.29.

Patricia previously designed these four Diet Coke City Collection Bottles for Selfridges last year. The four bottles featured cartoon imagery (yay for us cartoons) with the four bottles each representing a different part of a woman's life: gold for career, red for passion, pink for love and turquoise for fashion. Vio Vibrance Drink by Coca-Cola

Coca-Cola was kind enough to send in photos of their latest product launch, Vio Vibrance Drink: a blend of skim milk, sparkling water, natural fruit flavor, and pure cane sugar. One of Coca-Cola's clever copyrighters claims it tastes like "like a birthday party for a polar bear."

Vio, o novo refrigerante da Coca-Cola, é feito com leite desnatado, água gaseificada e aromatizado com frutas (abacaxi, frutas vermelhas, frutas cítricas e pêssego e manga). Os refrigerantes de leite são comuns, por exemplo, no Japão (onde inclusive fazem muito sucesso), mas parece que a Coca quer testar o produto no mundinho ocidental, a começar pelos EUA (sem previsão de chegada ao Brasil).

O produto tem apelo saudável (contém cálcio e vitamina C) e vem acondicionado em garrafas de alumínio, para ajudar na sua conservação. O design ficou bacanudo, mas será que a moda pega? (Tem gente que já experimentou em Atlanta e não gostou muito…)

Alice In Wonderland

The trailer for Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland (Lewis Carroll fantasy fiction) has just been released and it's totally awesome. I'm very, very excited because I love Tim Burton's cleverness and I lurve Johnny Depp. The all-star cast also includes: Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Crispin Glover, Alan Rickman and Mia Wasikowska as Alice.

The film is going to be shown in IMAX 3D and at the regular cinema. Which one will you go and see? Or will you see both versions? I really can't wait for this film, 2010, don't want to think about how quickly 2010 will come around, 'cause you know it will!

Enfim… Tim Burton, o diretor louco (porém fodão) de Bettlejuice, Edward Mãos-de-Tesoura, A Lenda do Cavaleiro Sem Cabeça, A Fantástica Fábrica de Chocolate, "Sweeney Todd" e agora o filme de Alice nos País das Maravilhas.

Vi no LAWeekly como ficaram as adaptações dos personagens e estão um tanto quanto sombrias, e "perturbadas", mas é o estilo do Bubu (Tim Burton para os íntimos), saca só:

A Maison Chanel está alerta a tudo o que sai na imprensa ao redor do globo e ditou as suas regras de como a marca deve ser citada daqui pra frente. Sabe aquela bolsa pretinha com a corrente dourada e o tecido matelassado que muitas marcas têm reproduzido em série? Daqui pra frente ela não pode mais ser citada como uma bolsa com referência Chanel. Será a bolsa de matelassê de tal marca. E ponto.

Vogue Italia has supplemented their July 2009 issue with a mini-magazine that features black dolls celebrating Barbie’s 50th anniversary.

It appears to be a follow-on from their iconic all-black July 2008 issue which featured the best of fashion’s black models including Naomi Campbell, Jourdan Dunn, Iman and Sessilee Lopez.

Franca Sozzani says, “Barbie has been an icon for whole generations which is why I really wanted to give a strong sign in step with the times, and dedicate the anniversary issue to black Barbie.”

The first black doll by Barbie, Francie, was released in 1967 as a friend to Barbie followed in 1980 by a “black Barbie” doll. A new line will also be released this Autumn called the So In Style dolls.

She’s such a stylish icon our Barb’s isn’t she? And not to mention popular and having the longest birthday celebration, jealous much?
